Quick Overnight Campout

We decided to do a one night campout. (That is perfect for me with kids.) It turned out to be a lot of fun and the weather was great. It was in this canyon with these cool rock formations at the top. They had the caves you could climb up to. Matthew and Tyson had a great time hiking up to them. I was pretty proud of Matthew, it was no small hike. We camped next to this creek that lulled us to sleep. It was fun to be together and a nice break from the ordinary. Here are some fun pictures from the excursion.
The view of the creek from our camp.

The boys making S'mores.

The boys pretending to be animals in the jungle.

They climbed up to the cave at the very top. (I think you can see it.)

A view from the cave. You can see the camp below.

Matthew in the cave. He was so proud of himself.
