Ian's Blessing

We were able to bless Ian this weekend. He was blessed at home because not everyone could be here in time for our church meeting. We liked the small, intimate setting of having it in our home. We enjoyed having this special time with family gathered around. It is always special blessing one of your babies. The spirit we felt was a testimony to me of this sacred priesthood ordinance. The image of those priesthood holders in a circle, hands on each others backs, holding this tiny infant is powerful to me. The blessing was beautiful and I am grateful to my husband who is able to hold the priesthood and is close to the spirit. What a blessing to be a member of this church. Having these ordinances, these stepping stones makes life so rich and meaningful. As a parent I love to see my children partaking in these beautiful ordinances. I can't wait till Matthew turns 8 and is baptized. That will be another special moment I look forward to.

He is too cute! Love those eyes. Don't you love being a mom of boys? I think it's so much fun.

Where do you pick up that lumberjack and what is he doing holding your baby. You really should lock the front door, or buy your husband razor.

Yor boys are so cute. They look a lot like your brothers. I can definitely see Moore in all of them!

Poor Rachelle-totally outnumbered by all those hairy boys-Does Caleb and Ians hair grow as fast as Matthews? Are you liking Tysons beard. Ian is adorable-I just barely checked out your blog and saw that you had him-Congrtas-he is adorable. I am glad to hear everything went well.
