FavoriteThings

Some of my favorite things
1. Kaleb’s tight bedtime hug and a whisper in my ear of, “I love you Mom.”
2. Matthew’s sweet little voice, who is tired of being in bed sick by himself, saying, “I want some company Mom.”
3. Cuddling in with Tyson while we watch a movie and eat warm fresh baked cookie after cookie after cookie.
4. Sitting on the couch in my warm house, looking at a Better Homes and Gardens magazine, while a brisk wind howls outside my window and the leaves are blowing from the trees.
5. The smell of a yummy candle
6. A clean house, at least the kitchen and living room, the boys in bed and me cozy on the couch watching my favorite T.V. shows.
7. Ian’s sweet smile and very vocal personality.
8. My new bedroom doors my dad and Tyson hung up for me.
9. A visit from my parents.
10. Good company and conversation as my dad and I drove up to the mountains with the boys.
11. Hearing my husbands keys rattle as he unlocks the front door and is met with a loud and excited, “Daddy!!” And of course his usual reply of, “What’s up my peeps.”

Those are all so sweet & make me smile. Don't worry, we all have down times, too...and somehow we manage to get through them & keep going each day.
