Kaleb's 5th Birthday

Kaleb loved his birthday this year. Honestly when don't kids love their birthdays? He had a Lego theme so I tried to make a Lego cake. It wasn't so great but he loved it. It was supposed to look like a huge Lego, which it did even though it was a little sloppy.

His favorite part was his new bike. He was in dire need of one. He was still riding those tiny little ones they first get when learning how to ride. The training wheels had long since been removed but it was so small. He had to pedal double the revolutions than we did to get the same distance. Poor guy, he couldn't go as fast as we were going even if he was pedaling his guts out. With his new bike he doesn't have that problem and he loves it.

It's always wonderful to celebrate another year of life for one of my kids. We love Kaleb. He is a sweet boy who is always ready for a cuddle. I can't believe he is already 5 and in kindergarten. Another year has flown by. I better enjoy these years while they last. :)

Yeah! Finally a bike that fits him. I'll bet he much less tired by the end of your rides than he used to be. Congratulations, Kaleb, on a BIG persons bike!
