That Sprain is a Pain!

Here is a picture of Ian with his first official injury. He sprained his ankle playing a dangerous game of airplane with his dad. We knew something was wrong when he wouldn't walk on it. It happened a few hours before bed so we decided to put him to bed and see how he was in the morning.
Well, that night he woke up crying and inconsolable. Tyson ended up taking him to the ER. After waiting forever they met with a doctor and had an x-ray. The results showed a small sprain. The ER bill was worth my peace of mind at least. He was gimping around for the next week or so. Sometimes, in the beginning, he would get tired of trying to walk around so he would get on his belly and pull him self around with his arms. It was pretty hilarious. We are just glad that it wasn't anything worse than that. So far we've been lucky in the injury department with our kids. I'll continue to keep my fingers crossed.

That is the cutest picture. Poor babushka! We're glad it wasn't anything more serious. He doesn't look like a baby anymore! Cutie!

As sad as it was, it was kind of a cute limp. ;-)
