New Years Resolution

I think this might be the first year I haven't really made any new years resolutions verbally.  Usually my husband and I will talk about things we'd like to do but it's just been so busy I haven't really done that yet.  However, I have been thinking about reading my scriptures more, in general not just for a new years resolution.  I guess this post is just me officially saying I want to be better at reading my scriptures this year, a little bit every day.  Even if it's just a few verses, I want to get in the habit of opening my scriptures every day.  I have a wise friend who once told me that one of the reasons she tries to read her scriptures everyday is because she feels her Heavenly Father's love for her when she does.  That is something we all need to get through life, feel our Heavenly Father's love for us everyday.  It can be a great motivator and confidence builder.
Feeling our Heavenly Father's love can help us become the person he knows we have the potential of becoming, the spirit he created.
I also look forward to receiving inspiration and feeling closer to the spirit to guide me in my life.
Wish me luck in my efforts! :)

Your facebook comment reminded me to check your blog, since it is private I have to sign out and sign in with a different account to view it . . . good for you for posting more often! I will have to check it more often if you are going to keep updating it. ;-)
