General Conference

We always look forward to conference time.  We love to have the whole weekend together as a family with no other responsibilities.  I love to gather with my family and listen to the prophets and apostles give us guidance and lift us with their inspiring words.  I also love that my family and I can sit around in our jammies and just enjoy doing nothing but listening in the relaxed, comfortable setting of our home. My kids always build a fort that opens towards the t.v. so they can see.  This year I tried to keep there attention by giving them a long list of words and telling them to put a check mark by the word when they heard it.  At each break for a song they would come and show us their papers and get some skittles for each check mark.  That kept them listening for most of conference. :)  It was a wonderful weekend and I'm thankful for it!

When Tyson saw this picture he said he was just nodding his head in agreement with the speaker.  No way could he be dozing off, he never does that!
