Random Funny Stuff

A while back Tyson told me he would be fine if Ian never grew up.  He LOVES Ian at this age.  He is so hilarious and has us always laughing.

Kellen is at such a fun age.  I never tire of watching him tottle around the house.  I especially love it when he tries to go as fast as he can without falling.  Sometimes the momentum is hard for him to keep up with.

This morning I went into Kellen and Ian's room to get Kellen out of his crib.  Ian was still sleeping so I whispered to Kellen, "Good morning buddy."  He started talking to me in his little baby jargon.  The funny thing was that he whispered it.  What a smart little guy.  That's the first time I've heard him whisper.  It cracked me up and it melts my heart.  I wanted to kiss his soft, baby cheeks right off!

Matthew has some jammers (tight, biking type of shorts).  He got them for a triathalon and he also used them for swim team this summer.  I have a funny story about them.  I was taking some pictures of friends by the river on a Sunday afternoon.  We thought it would be nice, and within the realm of wholesome sabbath activity to take a nice walk and snap some pictures.  Near the place I was taking pictures there was this little ditch that ran into the river that was filled with water.  Next thing I know Matt is floating on a log in the ditch with his jammers.  I did not know that he had them on under his clothes.  I quickly told him to get out of the water because it's Sunday and the devil was in these waters!  The part about the devil.....totally kidding.  However, I did tell him to get out because it wasn't a Sunday activity.  I was trying to be stern but did manage to get a picture before he got out.  He spent the rest of the walk in his jammers and t-shirt.  If you look at our family pictures from recent post you can see that he is wearing his jammers.  I think they look hilarious but am glad that he's not worried about what others think and feels comfortable wearing them pretty much anywhere.  It cracks Tyson and I up.

I was watching Kaleb in primary, as I do every Sunday.  That kid CANNOT sit still for a minute.  He isn't trying to be irreverent or naughty.  He just seriously can't be still.  He is like that at home too.  Unless he is asleep he isn't still. Some part of his body is always moving.  Just watch him sometime. I can tell that he tries sometimes but it's like there is something inside of him trying to bust right out!  I like to think it's is super valiant, giant spirit.  His body can hardly contain it.  He is meant to do great things I know it! :)
