Friend Birthday Party

If I'm being honest I'm not a big fan of throwing friend birthday parties for my kids.  It seems like a lot of work and you can end up spending a lot of money renting out special places, etc.  The way I prefer it, so both my kids and I are happy, is to let them choose 2 friends to take swimming at the YMCA, the cheap movie theater or something like that.  This way they are having fun with their friends but I'm not feeling it in the pocketbook or the chaos of boys running everywhere.(I already have that!)  This year Kaleb invited his friend Masaru and Bobby to the Nat to swim.  This included 10 trips on the hydro-tube for each of them.  That is a special treat for my kids, almost as good as Roaring Springs water park. :)  They all had a blast and Kaleb was thrilled to have a friend birthday party.

3+4+1=8 years old! (I forgot to have candles so I recycled some old ones.  I am environmentally friendly that way.)
