My boys costumes were easy this year. We didn't have to spend much money on them...always a bonus. Kellen had the coolest Yoda costume passed down from a cousin. He was so adorable. I put it on him way before the trunk or treat so he could get used to the hat and stop trying to tear it off. It worked! He wore it for half the day and didn't complain. Matt was going to be a zombie but when I started to paint his face he looked more like an army man so I he was a skeleton instead. Personally I liked that better anyways. Kaleb decided on being a vampire and we already had everything we needed for that. Ian wanted to be a ninja. He wore his costume most of the day too because he has a preschool Halloween party earlier that day and never took it off after that.
We went to our trunk or treat. Then the boys went trick or treating in a neighborhood that gives really good candy! They got way to much. It makes me a little sick just to look at it. Since I wasn't going to be missed, my boys being preoccupied with the task of getting as much candy as possible, I went back to the comfort of my warm home, laid Kellen down, and vegged out on the couch. The boys came home and we watched a few episodes of Merlin, which we love right now, and off to bed we went to dream of being chased by little candy zombies. ;)
Pumpkin Carving
Always silly.....always. :)
Laughing at their own fart jokes. Boys will be boys.
My favorite little Yoda.
Kellen loves to put hats on. When he came in with this one it cracked me up.
At first Kellen cried when he saw Matt. Then he would just stare like the picture below.
Serious skeleton.
Ready to get some candy.
At the first trunk. Let the fun begin.
Luckily these two weren't running around for 2nd's, 3rd's or even 4th's like my older boys.
Look at that loot. Matt was somewhere secret looking at his. His is too afraid of the parent tax!

Love that close up shot of Matt.
He looks awesome.
What to do with all the candy right?
I'm just staring at it in wonder and awe.
Glad the night went well and everyone had tons of fun.
Kellen's a cutie and Ian's ninja costume was awesome man.
Look at Kaleb's candy? Crazy, crazy.
Love it!

I was ready to leave Trick or Treating as soon as I got out of the car! I was FREEZING! You missed out on one of the most disturbing Halloween displays I think I have ever seen! I am surprised my kids did not have nightmares! Yikes! It took me forever to get warm when I got home, I even slept in my big fuzzy robe! Glad Halloween is OVER! Yahoo!
