The Source of Light

My friend recently put a blog post up with images of Christmas lights from the perspective of her camera lens.  It really is awesome what you can do with a good camera.  The camera captures things differently than what you may see with the naked eye.

As I was reading her blog I started thinking about how Christmas time is filled with beautiful lights.  It is tradition, and you see it everywhere you look.  As a family we love to take an evening and drive around to look at the lights.  It is magical and mesmorizing.

It is fitting that this time of year should be filled with lights.  After all, it is the time we celebrate our Saviors birth who is "The Light of the World"  We celebrate when the source of light and truth came into the world.
What a gift that our Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ gave us.  May we always be reminded, as we see these lights everywhere, who should be the center and focus of it all.

I'll end with words from another friends blog post.  She said, " Tis the season to remember what life is really about, and it's about Christ and who He is to us."

May we all feel the spirit of Christmas as we focus on Him.
