This quilt makes two that I've made that have sentimental value to me. The first one I made when Matt was 2 years old. The reason it is special to me is because I was working on it when I got the call that my grandpa had passed away. Now every time I look at that blanket it reminds me of my grandpa but not in a sad way. I just think of him when I see it and he was a wonderful man...one of the best in my opinion. :) His blanket is in the last picture with the one I just finished. Being almost 9 years old it is worn but that doesn't matter. I'll hang onto it until it is falling apart.
