Vacation

We went on a family trip to Disneyland with my brothers family last week.  Besides being slightly tainted by sickness and every leg of the trip seeming to take an hour or two longer than it was supposed to, it was a good vacation.
We went to Disneyland and California Adventures for two days then spent a day at the beach.  That was one of my favorite parts.  The beach wasn't busy, the day was sunny, and the sights and sounds were breathtaking.  It was so relaxing and therapeutic.  Hearing that consistent, endless roar of the waves was awesome.  I could fall asleep to that sound.
I can't wait to take a similar trip in the future with EVERYONE healthy and happy. :)  It was a nice break from the wretched inversion in Idaho.  Tyson was the sickest and he loved sitting in the sun.  He would have preferred being sick there in the sun then being sick here at home.
Here are some pictures of the trip.  My brain is too tired to explain much else. :)

The parade was awesome.  I was totally into it!

Looking at the hermit crabs in the tide pools.

There is something about running on a sandy beach...

Just like a model.  Woot, woot!! ;)

Poor Matt.  If you look at him in all these beach pics you can tell he isn't feeling so hot. :(

The Golden Gate Bridge was pretty awesome.  It was a really foggy day though.  You could barely make out San Francisco across the bay.

Great pictures! I am glad you had fun, though tainted by sickness. Aargh! There should be a rule that everyone HAS to be healthy on family vacations! You really should go to D-and during Christmas it is the most beautiful time. It will be better in the future when everyone is a little older! Glad you made it back safe and sound!
