Boise Balloon Classic

Every year in early September there is the "Boise Balloon Classic". We've gone one other time several years ago and decided to go again. We got to the park around 6:30ish (in the morning.) to watch the balloons inflate and take off. It was pretty awesome. They let you stand right in the middle of the balloons getting ready and than taking off. It's really cool to be surrounded by all these massive balloons. The boys loved it. It was a beautiful, clear, cold morning. Catching the sun rise over the mountains with all those balloons up in the air was amazing. We'd like to make it a yearly tradition for our family. So much fun!!

As they were filling up....lots of hot air around there.

Tyson and the boys getting a close up view of the action.

Ian checking out the balloons.
Matt getting a different perspective.

Ahhh......brotherly love!

FUN! That's like my classic childhood. My mom's a hot air balloon pilot, I miss those days. How exciting you got to take your family to that :) Good times.
