Family Pics

Back in May I took some pictures of a family that had the highest bid on the photo session I put in the scout auction.  After taking pictures of them they offered to take pictures of my family.  Even though we weren't looking our best or particularly prepared for it I thought, "What the heck."  The pictures tell a story all their own.   It's funny because the kids in the family I took pictures of were super posers. My boys can hardly be still and keep their hands off each other as you can see in the pictures below.
I take a lot of pictures of my kids but they are mostly candid, in the moment shots.  I hardly have them stop and pose for me.  It's a little to much to ask of them with all the wiggles they have.  ;)  That's okay though, I like the candid shots that catch them being who they are without prompting.  I do like posed shots too but luckily I am a big fan of the candid ones because that what my kids do best!  My friend kept taking pictures while we tried to get our boys to cooperate.  Here they are in all there candid craziness!  What would be really cool is to put these in a flip book and it would be like those pictures that move as you flip the pages.

Starting out pretty calm.

Trying to get the branch out of my face.

So cute....if only Tyson and I were looking up.

Starts to get a little crazy. I know it looks like I'm trying to 'wring Matt's neck' but I wasn't.  He was leaning his full weight on the boys and I was trying to get him off.

Tyson and I trying to be calm and natural with the zoo around us. ;)

Kaleb's gearing up to harass Ian.

As you can see Ian's not a big fan of the big brother harassment..

"Kaleb, let go of his head."

Through gritted teeth and forced smiles, "No seriously, Let.Go.Of.Ian's.Head!"

We give up!  There has to be a good shot in there right? lol

No really, these pictures crack me up.  Through these pictures you get a glimpse into my daily life with 4 boys.  I may not have any hair left when they are all grown, maybe some chronic twitch or tick.  But oh how I love them!!
