Our Evening

We had a huge rain storm today!!  Such a welcome sight.  I hope it rained over some of those fires we re having.  The electricity went out and we just enjoyed opening all our windows and watching it pass through.  The boys sat at our open door and enjoyed the show.  The wind was blowing and the rain was pouring.  Once the tree limb ripping wind died down and the thunder and lightening subsided we let our boys go out and play.  They loved it!
Since I had no dinner made and the electricity was out we headed to Dell Taco for a quick, easy dinner out.  Any excuse to not have to cook for a night.  We ate as we drove up to the foothills to enjoy the fresh air and take some pictures.
I love rainstorms.  I have the fan in my window at this very moment so I can smell all the freshness that it brings.  No more smokey air.....for now.  I'm LOVING it!!
