Cello
Matt is taking a crack at the cello this year in Orchestra. Tyson and I are both very excited for him! The cello looks and sounds so beautiful. I don't mind having that noise in my house, even when it's just practicing sounds, not actual songs. Music speaks to me like nothing else in the world. I hope that Matt continues to enjoy learning cello and I hope his love for good music will grow. It's also an awesome way to feel the spirit too.
At my house lately the boys have been OBSESSED with the Piano Guys. I don't mind it at all since I love them too! :) I love the look on the face of the cello player while he plays. It looks like he feels pure bliss. You can see he feels the music. It is a great reflection of how music makes me feel. It is truly on of the greatest blessings in my life!

Matt told me last week while coming home from scouts that he's playing the cello and he's lucky cause all the $30 ones were gone so he got the nicer $60 one and was very happy about that fact. He also told me he wants to play other instruments as well and cello is just a start and he may venture out, but is willing the try the cello for now.
LOL
Kids are a hoot.
Melissa, that is what Matt was hoping for. Thankfully we were able to find on at 1/2 that price to rent. $60 would have been a little to steep for us.
Good luck with all the music! It can bring tears of joy and pain (especially in the beginning stages!). But one day, the fruits of the early laboring might just pay off with something beautiful!
