A Milestone!

Ian is now riding his bike without training wheels!  He loves the new found freedom.  The other day he asked if he could ride his bike along side me as I drove the boys to scouts.  He caught onto it so quickly.  I was really surprised because he is such a cautious boy so I thought he would be timid and it would take a while.  On Monday after school Kaleb went out with him into the cul-da-sac and helped him learn.  I love it that his big brother taught him.  By the next day he was off and ready to go.  When Tyson got home from work yesterday he was so excited that he hoped on my bike with Kellen and rode around with Ian.  I have a feeling Ian won't settle for riding in the bike trailer anymore. :)

If you could get closer to Ian's face you would see how thrilled he is.

Can you see the excitement in Tyson's face?  What a goof!

Kellen actually loved being on the bike but toward the end he wanted to get down and run around.  He wanted to be free and wasn't happy about not being held captive.
