We live in a "Selfie" world

Since our computer is a piece of junk and has crashed on us in the past we back up our files onto an external hard drive.  We have some newer pictures on our computer but most of our pictures are on our hard drive.  Yesterday I hooked the external drive up to our computer and stared browsing through the pictures.  It is so fun to look at the pictures of my kids as they are growing up and also watching the videos.   I transferred some back to our computer so I could do some blog posts with them.  Especially of Matt and Kaleb, since part of their young life I didn't have a blog.

While looking through the pictures I noticed several "selfies" that I had taken with Tyson and the boys. (I don't know if they are technically selfies when other people are in them. I'm not up on what all these new hip words mean exactly.) Of course this was before the term "selfies" was created.

I have to say that I feel a little silly taking "selfies" of just me alone but, when other people are in them I don't mind as much.  Taking them must require some skill because they can be very unflattering at the wrong angle.  Like when it accentuates my nose....my nose does not need to be accentuated!

They all look great.
I can't think of a picture of taken of myself just to take one of myself.
It's usually (like you) with someone or something else you know.

Cute pictures! I take pictures of myself all the time! (Thanks to reverse camera iPhone!) I read somewhere about how Moms need to "get in the picture" and I want to make sure I am documented in my history too, since no one else is documenting my life for me. :-) I have made videos of my grandma's life and was hard-pressed to find pictures of her over the years! Whether it is you, or you with someone else, I say, get in the picture and record your life! Yea! :-).
