Missing Him

In the last seven years Tyson has been in 2 very busy, time consuming callings.  I know I've talked about it before.  He was a scoutmaster for 5 years and has been in the bishopric for almost 2...I think. He is awesome and always willing to serve to the best of his abilities.  There is no wishy-washy, bare minimum with him.  He does a fantastic job without complaint.  He is a great example to me and our boys of service and sacrifice and doing it with a happy, willing heart.  For that I am grateful.  He is always teaching me, by his example, to serve selflessly.
I, on the other hand, can grumble and complain at times.  Please, don't judge me for being human. He is gone a lot and sometimes I just miss him so much my heart hurts!   I know he is where he is supposed to be.  We'll always serve where we are called and do our best.  I just miss him that's all.

He is such a great guy, you will likely have to miss him due to time-consuming callings for many years to come. :-) I know, how comforting! Hope you guys can at least squeak some date nights in! It can be very hard when they are gone so much.

When Shane and I lived in Maine he was always so busy with either work or church. I never saw him. I understand what it means to not have him around as much as you would like. You are awesome and amazing!! thank you for being my friend.
