Wicked

"One step more to the Emerald City."

Last Friday night we went with our friends, the Taylors, to see Wicked.  It was our second time and I loved it just as much if not more.  Our seats were closer so we could see better.  That was a nice bonus.  We started the night out going to dinner at the Fork in downtown Boise.  It was pretty yummy and had a fun atmosphere.  The best thing was the butter cake we had for dessert...so delicious!

Our husbands kept joking about us being ready for our duet.  Here is the back story of that. So, last year Sarah and I were going to sing the Wicked song "For Good" at a relief society talent night.  We both love the song but decided on something else instead.  Ever since then we would joke about saving our duet for the actual show.  Sarah said she was even going to paint herself green. ;)  Our husbands joked about how we should stand up at our seats and just belt it out.  We would totally show up the performers right?  They couldn't hold a candle to us!  We decided against it last minute.  No doubt people would be comparing and we didn't want to embarrass the Elphaba and Glinda on stage. ;)

Anyways, it was a great night.  I love it that Broadway shows come to Boise!
