I am feeling humbled a lot lately but that is a good thing right? That's one of the many ways we learn and become more like our Heavenly Father. :) In response to a recent post my sister left a comment that was good for me to read and had a lot of insight. She is a spiritual giant and I respect her very much. I'd like to share it because I think it's worth reading and thinking about.
She says....
"A life that is not documented is a life that within a generation or two will largely be lost to memory."

I feel like the older I get, the less I want to judge, and the more I want to love. Having a teenage daughter is very enlightening in that way. I often find myself giving her advice about how to treat people/not judge, and as a result, I end up teaching myself how I should act too! Also, more confidence in oneself = less judging of others. :-) We never know the battles people are going through -- no matter what they appear like on the outside. People are just people. Our job is to love people. As an almost 34 year old woman, I get that now! :-)

Great thoughts that I needed to hear. Although I told myself and you in my post that I wasn't judging the women I mentioned I probably was. As my sister said there is enough criticisms from the outside looking in and we don't need to contribute to it.
A friend of mine and I have had conversations several times about the fact that we as women need to be kinder and gentler to one another and judge less. She is one of the least judgmental and accepting people. Whenever we talk about that I think, "Yes, we need to love each other and support each other were we are." Obviously I can improve in that area and will keep trying. :)
Thanks to my sister and friend for teaching me by your examples.
